Hi everyone,

After purchasing the product and setting up new projects they don't work. I had no issues with the demo versions.

So far the $PROGRAMFILES$ and now $SHORTCUTFILESALL$ variables are not being translated during installation. Please advise as I cannot , shouldn't have to 8) , crate workarounds for all of these.

Thank you.

Dear User,

what do you exactly mean with?
> So far the $PROGRAMFILES$ and now $SHORTCUTFILESALL$ variables are not being translated during installation

Can you post the steps you used to create the project?

Regards

Just a thought,

Did you make sure that you use $PROGRAMFILES$ after it was initialized?
If you opened the dialog before you initialized the parameter, you'll get $PROGRAMFILES$ instead of the actual path to Program Files.

I manually initialized it to make it work. I though these were supposed to be initialized internally and it it would be always available.

Hi,

The definition appears in region define setup globals (at least on my blank project)
If you open the dialog after this region, you'll get what you looked for.
