IA 11 Framework 4 64bit

Hello
I have now upgraded to IA11 and tried to build a new setup package of my project including Install Net Framework 4
I have selected Framework 4 and Framework 4 (64bit) in the design tab
I have uncheck both Framework 4 Client Profile because we do not need the Client Profile (we need full)
Then after build and installation at a Server 2008 R2 64bit the wizarde try to install Framework 4 but at beginning I have the error

"Error occurred while initializing fusion"

Installation fails

any idea?

Hansjoerg,

Please try running the binaries from the runtimes\net4..... folder on the target machine and see what it says - there could be an incompatibility of sorts and only running the binaries that IA is running manually can reveal the real error.

I have found out what happens.
First I tried to include only the net4setup (Framework 4 full) without the Client profile
After build this caused the described error.
After googling a lot I saw similar errors. Some people wrote that the Client profile is always needs to install bevor the full version
So I have added the Framework 4 Client Profile also to my project, build new Setup and installed on Server 2008 R2
And no error
Framework 4 was installed fine.
It seems that we need to include both, Client and Full Profile in IA
