InstallAware is committed to helping developers keep ahead of the constant changes taking place on the Windows platform, including being the first to offer Windows Vista support for your setups. In all editions, InstallAware lets you select your target operating systems by simply choosing the minimum capability for your application, ranging from Windows 95 to Windows Vista.
In InstallAware Developer edition (and above) you may also use the Get System Settings MSIcode command to install different resources or features in your setup script, branching by platform. This capability was first available in InstallAware version 5.3, released on March 26, 2006.
InstallAware even lets you check for different subsets of Windows, such as Tablet PC Edition, Media Center Edition, and Server Edition.
