Re: X6 Code Signing Failing - Multiple Builds

If you are using a timestamp server it can help to switch to another time server. Happens to me too... most of the time the issue resolves itself after a few days.

Re: License question: Redistributing the IaAutomationNet4.dll

Hey does that mean as a stand alone dll? I am getting a little confused... I read that InstallAware studio admin allows me to create applications that can emit and build InstallAware Setups on the end user system. But what DLL do I have to use for that and in which manner? I surely want to respect y...

Re: .net Automation supply multiple conditionals

Ok I sorted this out... it seems like the variables need to be provided in a list structure (and not just as a csv).

Re: [Plug-In] X509 Certificate Plug-In for InstallAware X5 (Free-Version available)

Sorry but at the moment I am not planning any further development as long as I don't need it for my projects. The response was simply to low and developing stuff no one needs is quiet disappointing :(.

Re: Multiple products in one installer

One very straight forward way: The InstallAware Setup supports command line arguments for silent install. Simply add your setups to the supportdir of the wrapper setup and run them from there. But maybe there is a more stable way then that? Here is how to run the setup silent: http://www.installawar...

Re: XML Editing seems not to work

hey

yea solved it... my mistake was more a little bit fundamental. I thought all the Write-registry queries etc. would be applied instantly but it seems like I need to wait until Apply-install was executed. my mistake.

XML Editing seems not to work

I have a very simple XML-File in the form of: <a> <b>Text</b> <c>Text</c> </a> I want to update what is inside those b and c nodes. My XML Command looks like the image I attached to this thread. I am totally lost it seems to do nothing. I tested some variations and looked at other samples but i am u...

Re: Windows Event Log Plugin - Version 1.0.0 (Freeware)

Hey.. I know I didn't had to but there were some good hints that really saved some of my nerves in the end. I found some bugs myself and updated the file. Have you tried out the plug-in yet? I would love to hear your opinion. I am currently working on the third one... What was that a plug-in of your...
