Re: Compress 7zip Archive error #1006

Last but not least, Custom SCRIPT VARIABLES must be Always declared before to use them. For what I see from the project you posted, the variables; host and ErrorCode have NOT been declared. Hi Francesco, the variables are declared in my larger project. I have followed the documentation here: https:...

Get Exact OS Level into

Hi There,

I am using the "Get Exact OS Level into" function and was expecting to have a version number, eg: 10.0.14393

However when do this on a Windows 10 Home PC I get "TENTHREE" returned into the variable, it should return "10.0.14393".

I am confused?!?!

Re: Turn off transition effect

I had wondered the same, I looks poor on some systems, it can appear jittery and not smooth at all.
I don't feel its necessary.

Fatal error during installation

For some reason my MSI has decided to have a "Fatal error during installation". Through debugging I can see the issue occurs at "Apply Install" and the log from the MSI contains the following: MSI (c) (A0:90) [17:15:51:573]: Note: 1: 2205 2: 3: Error MSI (c) (A0:90) [17:15:51:573...

Re: Capture/Pass Variable Data Via Command Line Switch/Parameter

So, just so I understand, MY_FIRST_PROPERTY would be a variable?
Do I need to define this before? If I am Setting a Variable, will it not make it null?
How do I capture the data within my MSI code?

Capture/Pass Variable Data Via Command Line Switch/Parameter

Hi, Is it possible to pass data via a command line parameter? My installer requires the end user to supply some data, and whilst I have created some custome dialog pages to capture this, for some implementations I would like the deployment to be possible using the MSI and a /silent command line swit...
