Re: Going from Trial to Licensed version

Actually now with the 30 day money back guarantee (http://www.installaware.com/blog/?p=23), you can go-live under a paid license too - as long as you make up your mind within 30 days :)

Re: Going from Trial to Licensed version

You are not allowed to distribute installers you have built with InstallAware on the trial version.

What you need to do is rebuild your project once you have your license and distribute only that one.

Re: COM Objects

I think you are asking about self registration of COM Objects, this is of course supported - look at Register Library, and the Install Files options for self-registration.

Re: Static Scanning

There is no built-in static scanning - you may use a free Windows SDK tool like depends.exe for that.

This appears to be a bug with the conversion tool.

Please feel free to send us any additional scripts that might also be failing.

Re: How much to upgrade from V7R2 to Latest?

That's definitely not true :)

Please visit www.installaware.com/buydirect.asp

Choose your edition and you are eligible for the 50% instant upgrade discount - so for the Studio version, that'd be prices starting from $999...

Re: Upgrading

Our online store just says " an old version of Install Aware is required ", and never mentions a serial number. It appears the reseller is confused  Since we don't actually have serial numbers, why not just make one up? Try this one and see if the reseller notices anything peculiar: 3...
