Re: NATIVE_OVERWRITE / NATIVE_OVERWRITE_OLDER

Re: X6 Build error

Dear Munderhill,

are you sure you activated your InstallAware product using the correct License file?

Each IA release/version requires a unique and specific license file to activate the product.

Re: Skip Compression for a File

Dear HammadAsghar, what you are asking is absolutely not possible and it can't be otherwise. If the "SQL Express 2014" installer needs to be embedded with the generated compressed exe, this needs to be compressed as well (even if already compressed). The only option is to supply that insta...

Re: msbuild support

Dear Dcoleman, both "Studio & Developer" editions include the "miabuild" Command Line Build Tool ... which is not an old tool at all. Just open a command prompt task and type 'miabuild'. For a list of features available with the different IA editions, you may have a look at t...

Re: Unable to create patch database

Dear SITL, Patches are cumulative Always ...so if you followed the patch sequence correctly, Patch2 should include Patch1 as well. At any rate and as I have already suggested you probably in other post, you may store a value somewhere on the target machine (for example; a build/version number). Then...

Re: Run Now - Run time error

Dear SITL, unfortunately, without knowing what your code does exactly, I am not able to understand what could be the effective reason of your issue. The check box "Run MyApp Now" just sets to TRUE the RUNAPP variable, then typically at end of the main setup script, this is used to conditio...
