Just got a pretty kick tail PC with a UHD Display. Most other programs display properly, but not Installaware.
See attached Screen Capture.

I should note the screen capture looks fine, but on the screen the text is so small you can't read it.

I'm trying to deal with this same issue. I'm only running display scaling at 175% and InstallAware does not scale at all, making it impossible to read or use. It appears InstallAware declares in its manifest that it's High DPI aware, when in reality it's not. This in turn deactivates the Windows compatibility display scaling as a workaround. A fix to this would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Jeremy,
in fact the InstallAware manifest correctly declares that the GENERATED SETUP PACKAGES are High DPI aware.
The issue discussed here it's instead limited to the IA IDE segment.

Dear Jeremy,
I know that ... I was referring to your note about "High DPI aware".
What reported by the IA documentation is totally correct, because refers to the GENERATED SETUP PACKAGES, which are High DPI aware.

I just purchased a Surface Book and installed InstallAware on it as part of the process of switching from my desktop to the Surface Book. The latest version of InstallAware (x5) has really bad issues on the Surface Book, which is running at 200% display scaling. And some of the fonts are so incredibly small that I can't even read them.
Is there any hope for relief from this in the near future? My changing business needs are such that I'm going to have to be running most of the time on the Surface Book, and InstallAware is one of only two programs that I run that I've encountered the problem with, to this extent, so far.
I've attached a screenshot. The problem areas are the list on the right side of the screen, which has overlapping text; and the central area where the links are too small to read.

Dear Eric,
I also have a Surface Book and I also had similar problems with many different applications.
I have managed to solve most of them with changing the default display settings.
Currently I am using 1280x800 for the screen resolution and 100% as font scaling.
I have been also informed that after installing the new Intel driver for the GPU, it's even possible to set the Surface Book display to 1280x854. This should be an ideal resolution and the new driver should also fix some display problems.
Unfortunately this has to be installed manually, because the Intel GPU driver installer seems to not detect the custom hardware on the Surface series hardware. For now, I didn't have any chance to try to install the new driver ... I'll post my results once done, of course.
Hope this helps you.
