InstallAware Licensing Installer Crashes

Hi Guys,
I'm having problems running the InstallAware license updater. Each time I try to run it, I can get through the initial wizard but once it starts installing, it crashes at various points, sometimes when backing up files, sometimes when processing other times when registering components. I have been unable to get it to upgrade our trial version of InstallAware studio and each time the only way to get the computer back is to force quit the process from Task Manager.
Once it crashes, the installer becomes completely unresponsive, but when I look at the process in Task Manager, it shows that it is using around 100% of the CPU. I have left it in this state for a couple of hours to be sure that it isn't just being very slow. This looks like some sort of infinite loop issue.
I have tried installing it on Windows 10 and Windows 7, on both a VM and native machine, I have tried running as admin, turning off UAC but the result is always the same.
I have also tried downloading the licensing installer again from our area of your website, but nothing changes.
Please can you advise?
