I notice that v6.01 is now available which I found by accident when reading another message. I don't believe if there has been any announcement of this but apologise if I have missed something.

Could I suggest you add another category to this forum say along the lines of 'Announcements', to which only you can post, and which announces such updates. Also perhaps include a list of changes before we have to download 200+MB.

Thanks everso - John

Thanks for the suggestion.

This is a minor version upgrade and resolves issues reported with the 6.0 version.

It has two new minor features: the ability to create new application pools, and the ability to run (un)installer classes.

Michael,

Follow up - can we install over top or should we uninstall and then install with license key again?

Thanks - John

Hi John,

When you download and run the new version installer, it will automatically uninstall the old version for you.

Then you can log on to your customer account (which always vends the latest version licenses) to reactivate your latest version.

Please, backup both the trial installer, and the license file - keep them in a safe location for re-installation in the future.

You may repeat the above process anytime another upgrade is released

Hi Michael,

At first I thought I had an issue, but now this is just an observation - might give you a hint to avoid support issues in the future.

I downloaded the new 6.01, and then ran the license registration over it. Everything went OK, then I started the IA and did not find the new feature to create Application Pools.

I was already writing a post where it is, but then I recreated the license program, and of course now it is there. A warning would be welcome, if you run an older version of licensing program over a newer trial version.

Regards
Andrej.
