Invalid Pointer Operation.

So now that we are past the license issues (regenerated and re-ran the license installers again) and are all on X5, I am having another interesting issue that we cannot figure out. We have an installer that uses the Titanium theme. Or at least, it does on the other developer's system! On my system, only the dialogs that have been customized are appearing in the Titanium theme. The other ones are using the Swoosh theme.
When I try to use the User Interface - Dialogs interface to look at each dialog, I get an error dialog that says "Invalid pointer operation" when I move from the "destination" to the "components tree" dialog (and vice-versa). Once this happens, I am unable to bring up the designer surface - double-clicking or clicking [Edit...] does nothing except flash a wait cursor briefly.
If I close and reopen IA and then double-click on the dialog without moving between them, I can raise the designer surface successfully. (This is not a workaround/solution, as I still cannot get the theme consistent on all of the dialogs.)
This is not happening on the developer's system. All of the files are checked into source control and I even blew away my directory and brought down fresh copies just to see if it fixes things. It did not.
If the other developer builds the installer, all the dialogs are Titanium. If I build it, I get the mixed interface, which is strange to watch the installer dialogs grow and then shrink again.
I just did a fresh install of X5 (using the with_runtimes installer). Anyone ever seen anything like this before? More importantly, how do we fix it?
Before anyone calls BS on this, attached to this post is an MHT containing a replay of the problem. The images were cropped to just the Dialog interface and the action details were removed.
Thanks!
Peace!
