Animation during Next/Back

Is there a way to turn off the animation (sliding) that occurs when you press Next and Back?
Of course! There's a pre-defined variable called FX. You'll find it in the F1 help (search for pre-defined variables). You can choose different effects or disable it entirely.
Edit: I forgot to add there are two other related pre-defined variables called FXGROUND and FXTIME.
