I have two issues. 1. I have 8 different packages that I am trying to create, the only difference between each of them is a small xml file that has different configuration settings. How can I just pass that different xml file during install? 2. when installing the package, the icon properties point to a non existent property. the executable path and executable are incorrect, seems to be adding a couple of zeros and not dropping the variable for the path i.e. %System instead of c:. Ideas? TIA.

1. Just use compiler variables.
2. You cannot use variables in this field as the command window indicates.

Not using variables.

That is the value that Installaware is picking up from monitoring the install. The value it is capturing is not present in the original package and does not exist in the registry.

I guess PackageAware got confused about the shortcut. Please delete the shortcut and re-create it manually to point to the folder you desire.
