Dear Nicklas,

I'm happy that you solved.

Here's how I got it to debug:
Neither do a Web-deploy or Single-file build just click on the gear icon (or Shift+F9).

... that's what I said previously with "REBUILD your project" and the same is reported with IA documentation as well.

I know you wrote REBUILD and that is actually not what I have done (according to the IA UI).
When I hover the mouse over the gear icon a tooltip is shown with the text:
"Build (Shift+F9)
Build a full setup, etc"

That's not telling me that I'm doing a rebuild by pressing the button.

Let me teach you a lesson in how to support your customers:

When I write:
Build the project (both as a single isntaller and a web installer)

...then perhaps you should think "he pressed the arrow down button and then selected Web-deploy, the build process starts and for not known reasons, that is not a build good enough for debugging".

Have you actually tried using your own software?

Once again I'm surprised about the quality of your responses to your customers. It seems to me that you have a serious attitude problem because almost every forum thread I've read on your forums ends with the customer either getting flamed by one of your "supporters" or finds a solution him self without any help from your side, what so ever.

Dear Nicklas,

This is a support forum and not a place where to dispute a match.
The way you lead is offensive and I'm inform you that it is not tolerated at all.

I can accept any criticism but not in this way and I do not need your own demonstration on how to do my job.
I believe in all honesty that I have been quite clear on how to proceed and the related section of our documentations, seems to me enough clear about the argument.

I would like to put to your attention that you are replying to a topic named "Cannot debug in IDE anymore" ... where is supposed that you used to execute a debug ... but not anymore actually.

Personally I try to do my best with this forum support activity and do not intend to lose anymore my time with a such sterile discussion.

Regards.

@Francisco

Why did you ask the user if they are using a Trial Version?
Can you debug using the Trial Version?

I seem to be having the same problem several other people are having trying to debug the basic project Template.
