Hi, We started to get this compression error (attached) randomly with absolutely NO change to the installer. Any idea why or how to resolve it?

Is the error reproducible on any target?
Did you encounter the issue once re-compiled the installer?
Which is the compression level defined with project?
Do you have any Third Party Anti Virus installed?

Yes it is reproducible on any target. It happened after re-compiled the installer (happens with every build). I've not made any changes to default compressions level. (attached the screenshot below)
And no new third party AV. The installer from previous builds works fine.

Is there a possibility that this could be caused by:
a. changes to installable files?
b. multiple merges to different branches?

I am not able to replicate what you are reporting.
If you have a chance to send me a reproducible project, I can surely try to do some more verifications.

Sure Francesco. Pls let me know how can I send it? Also it used to not happen, maybe after repeated merges / recompiles it triggered? If I were to manually modify the compression rate to something else, it will work fine. This is the 2nd project this has happened, I wanted to know what triggers this behavior.

Thanks Francesco. I've sent email. The size was too big for the email, so I sent only zipped up project files without any dependent dialogs etc but also uploaded the all the files to onedrive and sent the link in the email.

Hi Francesco,

I am also experiencing this problem after upgrading from IA X4 to IA X15.

This issue occurs after changing the compression level and I am currently trying to find a compression level where this error does not occur.

The issue here was fixed with lowering-down the compression level as below:

Changing to that compression level resolved this issue.

Do you plan to update the product so that it is not possible to select unsupported compression levels?

Apparently not - I have the same error.

Please provide a VERY MINIMAL project that replicates the issue you seem to have.
