Generic Error Message

Postby frankalonso » Fri Feb 11, 2022 1:15 pm

I have been using InstallAware for over 7 years with much success. Every once in a while I get stumped. This is one of those times. I have tried every trick I know to remove the prior installation(s) and reinstall, but every time I run the installer I get a generic error message.

Below is the bottom of the log file. The problem originated when I installed a early beta of our product and removed it.

At the contrary, the error is clearly reported with your log:
MSI (c) (C0:20) [22:34:06:652]: MainEngineThread is returning 1603
