Bug when using Aero Theme with Readme

Postby Zero-G. » Tue Aug 02, 2022 4:14 am

Hey

I found a bug in your InstallAware tool. This bug is for older versions up to the actual (today downloaded) X15 Version.
When I use the Aero Theme, then I need a readme.txt file in my project to show the readme page.
The original (on the project site of the software) EULA and ReadMe menu point isn't working.
It seems, that the most themes use readme.rtf file to show the text, which is getting specified in the menu.
But with the Aero Theme, I need the readme.txt file.
When I change the text over the menu "EULA and ReadMe", the file readme.txt get's excluded automaticly from my project.
I have to readd the file by hand each time, I change it.

Hope you understand, what I meand ;)
THX a lot in advance

It's not a bug, but an Areo Theme limitation ...The only option is with converting the TXT file to RTF.

Okay, thanks.
But would be nice, when my added readme.txt file is not always excluded, when I change the EULA and Readme in Designtime.

When I don't include the txt file again, the Readme after compilation is empty.

THX
