Hello,

There is a need to have a long description of the selected component in the Custom Setup dialog. The problem is that the current label control does not allow scrolling, and a Memo/RichEdit control cannot accept information from the "Component Description" as the label does (using the Object Behavior dialog). Can I show a description for selected components in a control that allows scrolling content? I'd be grateful for an example if this can be implemented.

I've added a request for a TScrollBox component.

Until then, I'd just resize the label control.

Thanks for your reply and for the component request! It would be really useful in some cases. It's a pity that a Memo can't be used to display the description, as far as I understand.

The newly launched InstallAware Multi Platform has debuted the TScrollBox component, along with a host of other Dialog Editor improvements (11 months in the making, to be exact).
