Please insert the original disk

Hi there, I am crafting an installation and copy it to a memory stick to run it on a test machine. In the following example I get a "Please insert the disk" message:

1. Install Application (run from USB Key)
2. Run installation again (this time choosing different options - doesn't matter which ones, as long as they contain an "Install Files" section
3. Get error

The frustrating thing is the disk is still in the same place (having been clicked literally only seconds ago) and it doesn't matter where I point the browse folder dialog to, I cannot proceed. The only workaround I have found is to re-do the product Key and "upgrades product with.." key but obviously this is unworkable in the long run.

I would like an installer that effectively overrites any existing installation every time (or uninstalls without the original disk) and does not need the original source (since the same files are available from the install location).

!HELP!
