Hi,
I have used "Run Program" Command to run program after installation completed it's working fine. But now i want stop that running program at uninstallation before drop database script. So I am using "Terminate program". But it is not terminating that program at uninstallation.
This "Terminate Program" command works fine when i wants to terminate a program having name such as "Word Web" or "Fifa 99" etc. but my running program is simmilar to MSSQL Server i.e it's an engine, it's tool tip shows "SERVICE_RUNNING/LOCALHOST/RFIDService" So how can I stop running this engin at uninstallation time.
For "Run Program" I have used name for above launch.exe but when I used same name launch.exe or launch only with "Terminate Program" command then also it's not working
Please help me regarding this issue

Hey got simmilar problem of terminating program at uninstallation. I need to terminate engin e.x. SQL Server engine at uninstallation time. I have used "Terminate Program" Command but it's not working as per my liking. So please help me if u know the solution

This command is meant for programs running interactively on the end-user desktop, as identified by their window class and caption text.

So what can I do to stop that engin? Is there is another way should I try?

If it is a service you can stop it by using service control.

It's not a service, So when used control service command then also it's not working. when I used Run Program command then it is display in quick launch window. For terminating that application, I give "Terminate Program" command but still didnt find desire result. I have successfuly Terminate that program which toll-tip is like "ProcessPrc", "WordWeb","Volume". But my application display tool-tip like "Running-Desktop1\\MsSQLServer."

So please, Guide me regarding same.
