New User Question - download again? or not?

Before purchasing I had downloaded a full install (abotu 250 megs, I think). I had expected when I bought a licence I would just need to enter a serial number or registration key and this would unlock the trial version. However, after buying my license I got a link to download my product?? Do I need to first uninstall the evaluation copy? then download and install again?

Another question or two? Can I install Installaware on more than one computer? I have a PC that I develop software on running Windows XP. I have another that I use for testing with Vista RC. I would like to move my development to the Vista PC when that is Gold, but for now want to test on it.
One of the big attractions of Installaware is the Vista readiness of installs. I want to test that by creating an install on the XP computer then run the Install on the Vista computer, but afterwards, if all goes well, will likely use the Vista pc for development - and deployment. So I wonder if I will have any problems "moving" installaware from one PC to the other. Is there an Activate and Un-activate feature?

Anyway, my first impressions of InstallAware are very postive.

Thanks,

Dennis

Yes, you generate your license, and install it on top of a trial; which converts the trial to the full version.

Please make sure you backup both your license and the trial installer for future re-installation.

As for your second question, one license allows you to use the IDE on one computer only. So you will need to uninstall on one computer, then re-install on the new computer.
