Error: Path is too long

I have just started using InstallAware Express and am having the following error when testing my install. I have set the Target Folder to P:\\Test and get the error during file copy that the path is too long. If I change it back to $programfiles$\\test it works correctly. Is their a problem not installing to the $programfiles$ location?

I am not sure why this is happening, if you send me your setup project, I'd be happy to take a look at it.

The error is being caused by a subst drive command that was in my startup. If this is removed everything works fine. Even installs to a network drive now work correctly.

Ah, yes. The Windows Installer service does not like installing to subst'ed drives.
