Missing translations in initial dialogs

Hi there,
using the new version 6.5 I have the problem, that the initial dialogs (e.g. "InstallAware is preparing the InstallAware Wizard which will install this application. Please wait.") will not be translated any more. The translations (global strings) are present but not used. The project property "Default Language" is set to "German" in my case. With the previous version 6.24 this problem doesn't occur. You can reproduce this behaviour using an empty project and setting the "Default Language" to any other language than "English". To get some translations, you can install the German Language Pack for InstallAware which installs the translations of the global strings automatically.
Hope you can reproduce and solve this issue,
Thank you very much for your support,
Markus

do you want to take me poor on that? I downloaded the release you offer on your download site. If this is the old version, than is this your problem. Why don't you take a look at your self and see, that this version is from 04/23/2007.

He said RE-DOWNLOAD not RE-INSTALL the version.
Re-download the trial version, generate a new license and try again.

Thank you,

Perhaps I do not understand, which sense does ist makes to download the trial version and not to install it?

Marcus,
the version still shows 6.5 but has been updated.
Please download the actual trial version again. Install this version.
Then regenerate your license, download and install.

Hello, I did this exactly like you say. Now I have the effect, that the verry first initial dialog (e.g. "InstallAware is preparing the InstallAware Wizard which will install this application. Please wait.") is still in english, but the second initial dialog (The InstallAware Wizard is verifying the contents of this setup package. This may take a moment.) has the correct translation. I used the Localization Wizard again and agin, eberything look correct, but if i generate my setup file, the first initial dialog is in english. Now i formated my harddrive and reinstalled Windows XP and of corse InstallAware 6.5 to test, if the bug ist still there, and it is. Now I need an exactly advise what to do.

Can anybody else validate this report?
Marcus, can you provide more details - what OS did you try this on? What language is the OS itself in? What language is the OS's regional settings?

Marcus,
have you translated the "global" strings in the installation folder of IA?

I can't reproduce the problem.
I have installed IA 6.5 and the German language pack from Casic.
I created an empty Win 32 project, build a Web based setup and all start-up message are displayed in German language.
@marcus: Please verify that you have translated the global strings. The start-up messages is such a global string.
@casic: There's a small problem in upgrading IA. If someone has already used IA 6.0 and your Language pack,
then upgrades to IA 6.5, the default installation path is changed from InstallAware 6.0 to 6.5.
The Language pack is still in the old place. If I then do a repair install of the language pack,
some files are stored in the old location, some files (the dialogs) are installed in the new location and the global strings are not replaced.
Therefore I used the old installation path of IA 6.0.
