Thanks for the free upgrade!
I discovered one problem however: when I add an icon to my project (options: add/remove) and select "Build: compressed single self installing exe" then the generated exe will not be valid. Windows will display the error "...exe is not a valid Win32 application." when I try to start it.
When I remove the icon from the project everything is fine.
I am using the Studio edition (licensed).

I also noticed this, I have checked my icon and it has the same 6 formats as the icon contained in dependent.exe.

Could you try different icons and see if that works?
We've been getting lots of reports about this, it might require an update, but I'm not yet sure what the extent of the problem is...

I have tried an icon that has 6 formats, an icon that has 2 formats and an icon that has one format, same problem no matter which icon I use. I also tried several other icons at random from other people and am getting the same result.

Can you please send me some of those icons? I'll escalate this and get it sorted out. Thank you.

This issue has been resolved - thanks for reporting it.
Licensed users may simply log on to their account, regenerate and reinstall their license to obtain the IDE (and related build tools) which no longer exhibit this problem.
And, we will update the trial downloads within 24 hours of this posting, into versions which do not exhibit this problem.
Thanks again for spotting this one,
Sinan

Nice to know that somebody is working while I sleep
I downloaded and installed the new license.
Building from the IDE is now fixed however miabuild still has the error.
Could you take a look at it as well? Thanks!

Ah,
miabuild is not updated by the licensing package, that's got to be why. I've put the fixed copy of it online for your convenience. If you install the latest public trial and then apply the licensing, since the trial has also been updated now, you won't experience this problem.
