Restarting on Vista.

Part of my install involves installing SQL 2005 Express. Sometimes this returns an code to restart the machine, so I use the "Reboot and Resume Setup" function. This is fine on xp/2000, however when this happens on Vista, the setup is blocked - saying that startup programs that require permision are blocked (something along those lines). I assume this is where the program would normally ask for permision to be run.
This is not good for the customer, who would not know to run the install again. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Anyone? I am having the same problem.

It seems strange it needs to reboot and run again to configure the Check for Update facility; why can't this be configured from within the set-up dialogs?

Having the restarted run of the set-up getting blocked, makes this a no-no to use for our market :(

Is there anyway around this?

Thanks

Phil

I have exactly the same problem with Vista blocking the setup after rebooting... and my setup program is even digitally signed with a valid certificate.

Any support/solution?
