Deployment Tools Foundation and InstallAware

Is IA capable of running a DTF custom action. These custom actions are no different than a win32 CA so can we just use the Call DLL function?
I guess the real question here is:
Does InstallAware support CustomActions?? CustomActions that are added to the CustomAction table in the MSI database. Not simply calling a native dll function.
