Update Available for Licensed Users

Licensed InstallAware developers may now download the InstallAware v5.01 update. To download the update, simply logon to your user account, regenerate and reinstall your license. You do not need to reinstall the entire product to benefit from this update.

This update addresses the issues below:

    The $CMDLINE$ pre-defined variable occasionally lost its first character
    The IDE did not update the Pattern or Position field of the Parse String function

This update introduces the new functionality below:

    Compiler variables are now resolved when used in string fields of the Project Options window
    The Install Files command now offers a new Exclude Wildcards field to allow excluding files and/or folders from a build


Note: To take advantage of the new compiler variable resolution feature in command line builds and the automation interface, the product does need to be reinstalled.

The update for trial users (and the updated full product installer) will be available within 24 hours of this post.
