Tut, tut, tut. I cannot believe I missed that! It's been sitting here for over a week

Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5 Service Pack 2.7zip:
http://www.installaware.com/Microsoft%2 ... k%202.7zip - both x86 and x64 runtimes

Since the x64 runtime does require the x86 runtime, both of them are provided inside the same download. If you just want the x86 runtime, you can throw out the x64 component.

So just copy the files and folders found inside the first-level subfolders inside the archive, as desired, into your InstallAware runtimes folder - this will complete your install.

R&D have tasked me with the setup for the new runtimes - in hopes that it might improve my memory for next time

I've put something together, but please take it easy on me if there are any issues with it! I'll post the URLs as soon as the build is complete (takes a while, all together its 2.51 GB and 900 files for the entire collection).

Is there a download section where all runtimes can be found. I wouldn't suggest a SQL, F# Runtime Download in a thread named "Framework 4.0 Install"
And if you have this great stuff it would be a pity if nobody finds it...

The web-based installer doesn't appear to install the Visual Studio 2005 security rollup runtimes when selected to do so.

Try again now after re-downloading the web installer (just under 1.5 megs), it shouldn't need to re-download previously selected runtimes even.

I still don't see it.

I can see these runtimes are installed:
Microsoft Visual C++ Secure Runtime 9.0 (includes ATL and MFC).rtm
Microsoft Visual C++ Secure Runtime 9.0 (includes ATL and MFC) Service Pack 1.rtm

...but I don't see an equivalent for Visual C++ 8.0. I'm selecting the 2005 and 2008 runtimes during the install, but not the 2003.

You need to select 2003 - it is Visual Studio 8.1.

Visual C++ 2005 (known also as Visual C++ 8.0)
Visual C++ 2008 (known also as Visual C++ 9.0)
Visual C++ 2010 (known also as Visual C++ 10.0)
