Problem with custom Patch option

Hi,

I am using InstallAware v 9.0 for my project.

For Patch installation, we wanna go with Custom patch option for Web Compressed builds.

Steps taken for custom patch
- Install file statements for newly added files.
- Build has been complied with new revision code, version number. While compliation i have modified compiler variable BUILDMODE = PATCH for patch builds.
InstallAware compiles and creates build , but during Installation below errors occurs

This update package could not be opened.Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer update package.

When i debug this build then got to know, at the time of Apply patch above error occurs as return.

Please suggets, in case any step missing with custom patch deployment option or what could be the possible cause of this error.
