If Greater Than (Version) not working

I am trying to use the If Greater Than (Version) command and it does not seem to be working with the version strings we are using. Below is the statement that does not work when I set CURRENT_VERSION to 5.0.0.0.1.0

if Variable CURRENT_VERSION Greater Than (Version) 5.0.0.0.0.0
Select Component: Symphony Oracle\Version 5.0.0.0.1.0
end

From the little I can see it only seems to work with the first four digits of a version, but we need to use a six digit version number.
