After applying the lic the release # shown in the About box reverts back to previous release.
The release does show SP2 before appl the lic.

You need to follow the instructions in your license email.

I applied the IA_xxx_.EXE after installing the update.
Release reverts back to previous release after doing that.
Chkd all emls and see no other instructions?

As already mentioned in the first reply to your post, you need to regenerate your license.

There are no instructions in any eml I rec'd on how to re-generate the lic.

The eml we rec'd from Michael:
... - use your license file on your trial download.
Which is what we did.
Nothing in the eml about regenerate, nor in the original eml with the ser # etc.
Finally figured it out.
Somewheres it may be worth noting that
A) all Downloads, inluding patches/updates are trial downloads
and
B) One has to regenerate the lic key after each update.
Tacky way of updating software I'd say. Surely as a company touting as having software to make things easier for developers, this part could be much improved.

Well, i really don't get where the "bad" part is..
You download patch/software/update/whatever, you re-download your license.. :O That simple..

Go to
http://www.myinstallaware.com/ and login there whith your user account. Then just klick on "generate license" and you will have the latest version.

First real answer to the problem.
Don't know why it was so difficult for TS to answer this simple question.
They think it is a secret maybe to inform a customer how to...?
