Component folder

Postby devdept » Thu Feb 24, 2005 4:32 pm

Hello,

I am evaluating ia3 and don't understand the following:

File section:

* I have all the app files under the VS2003 Release folder and want to copy them under the specific Component folder, for example $PROGRAMFILES$\\My App\\My Component. How can I add the files to the specific dir that - of course - isn't listed and there is not any specific Add New Folder button?

Should I add the Release forlder and after - in the code view - change the destination folder name?

Thanks a lot,

Yes, that is exactly how to do it. Except, you don't need to swap back to the code view. Just add the file, then double-click it and type in the new folder name while still in the visual view.

I was right...

Thanks a lot, what about changing the single EXE setup icon?

Thanks again,

Easy, Project Options window. You can load icons of any color depth and pixel size.

Mmm... isn't it the Add/Remove icon?!? I was speaking of the setup.exe release file.

Thanks,

It's used in both places, actually.
