Before installing 8.8 SP1 I was using AVG, with AVG builds didn't hang on "creating sfx."
After installing McAfee 8.8 SP1 Create SFX takes 8x longer! Strange thing is there aren't any spikes in the McAfee processes either. Is this a known issue?

I am using MvAfee viruscan too ... without problems.

Have you tried turning off VirusScan ... just to see what happens?

Once it's installed corporate policies block turning it off; however, this is 8.8 SP1 and it hangs up on CREATING SFX...
