Thank you. We need that for our release next week. It is very urgent.
When the option does not work, please provide an update (e.g replace a IA dll file or whatever)
Kind regards

Hello Francesco,

upgrade from 14.02 to 14.03:

Problem fixed, but the "run as admin.." option is not visible in the link property dialog.
Is that correct ???

Heiko

Dear Heiko,

I have just tried and here works fine.
"run as admin.." is visible with the property dialog or right clicking the application link.

Regards.

With the InstallAware auto-update functionality and patch support, why isn't there an easy way to get incremental upgrades with InstallAware?
14.00 -> 14.02 took some time and now I have to do a full update/ install from 14.02 to 14.03.

Any chance you can release and UPDATE for this InstallAware versus requiring a full 2GB+ download?

Thanks,

Chris

@francesco:

Still the same problem with 14.03. It is really annoying.
We use German OS! Maybe is that the problem ?????

Dear Chris,

you can just regenerate and reinstall his license if all you need is the "Run as Admin" fix ( ... of course any new runtime or Net bridge update, will be available only re-installing the package).

Dear Heiko,

you are checking in the wrong place.
InstallAware applies the "run as Admin" setting to the shortcut and not to the Compatibility properties of the application.

I have just downloaded V15 because I need the "Run as Administrator" option for shortcuts. It is the only thing I would upgrade for.

I have just tried it and can confirm it DOES NOT WORK. The shortcut properties box shows it unchecked, despite having used the appropriate settings in IA15. Any advice?
