InstallAware

Hi All,

A newbie question I'm afraid

I've been trying to build a complex installing using the GUI in InstallAware, and while I can configure it to install services and/or websites I don't seem to be able to attach a service or website to a particular feature.

Is there anyway to do this ?

Actually you can..
You must use the Get Component State command to check if the feature is selected to be installed by the user and then act at your wish.
This should be done in the before the Apply Install command is executed.
You can exclude and include file at your wish, using the Get Component State and the Install Files commands.
