I have a sporadic problem with InstallAware Studio 15. I have got the error message "Error during build: Unable to open MSI template"

What could i do please?

due the sporadic occurrences you seem to have, have you checked if it is not caused by your Anti Virus (if any)?

Dear El Ji,

it simply means that for some reason the build process is not able to open the generated MSI database file.

... for example; it "could" happen that the file is not anymore under the expected location because it has been deleted ... or altered.

ich couldn't deactivate the antivirus software (rule of my company). It seems to be imposible to kill the Trend Micro Antivirus processes temporarly ... Is there any workarounds? Does "Flexera Software" implementate a solution to fix this problem? I think other companies just have the same problem ...

are there any settings/workarounds to avoid this problem?
It is very frustrating for us because we already spent a lot of money to purchase this product and a lot of time to migrate from WISE.

I am sorry for your frustration ... but if your problem it is caused by the AV doesn't exist a workaround, unless you remove it.
