I have added a new plug-in to my free tool set for InstallAware:

The Disk Technology Plug-In!

This plug-in detects whether you are running your installation on a HD or SSD. You can then use my other new plug-in "Configure Server 2" to set the start type of a Windows Service to "Automatic" on SSD or "Automatic (delayed)" on HD.
