The Plug-In Update Package referred to in this forum post:
http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=307
has been revised. Please download the latest pack here:

http://www.installaware.com/blockspon/I ... Update.exe [single file download, 66.4 MB]

http://www.installaware.com/blockspon/I ... %20Web.exe [web based download, 1.46 MB - 65.9 MB]

Fixes:

MDAC 2.8 detection was broken in the update pack. Corrected.
.NET 1.1 SP1 installations failed if .NET 1.0 was installed. Fixed.
.NET version detection would incorrectly report a newer version that had been previously installed but then removed. Fixed.

Installation:

If you previously installed the update pack, do not manually uninstall it. Let the installer of the revised version uninstall it for you.
If you have uninstalled the previous update pack manually (using Control Panel Add-Remove or by running the update pack installer and choosing uninstall), first repair your InstallAware installation, and then install the revised update pack.

I've read the previous thread about .Net..
Even if you uninstall .Net the mcoree.dll and the fusion.dll still remain on the system.
Also the version is always the LATEST that was installed, and it's NOT donwgraded upon uninstallation. That means if you had .Net 1.1 installed and the mcoree.dll was from .net 1.1, if you install net 2.0 and then uninstall it, the mcoree.dll will remain from .net 2.0 and it will not be downgraded to .net 1.1.

That is correct. We have updated our detection mechanisms to no longer rely on mscoree.dll. You do need the latest plug-in update pack, of course - download the one referenced in this thread.
