InstallAware

DF Control Service Plug-In is a Freeware License plug-in for InstallAware®.
This plug-in offers in a single interface, multiple commands to control a windows service application.



To download the plug-in installation file, please reach this link http://support.digitalfarm.it/DownloadArea/Free/Default.aspx and then select "Plugins for InstallAware®" from the left menu.
A readme file for "DF Control Service Plug-in 1.0" is available at the download page, anyway once installed, a copy of the readme file will be available in the plug-in installation folder.

It is in our plans to begin developing and distributing IA plug-ins for more specialized tasks, in the very next future. So to start, we decided to offer this one for free.

New version 1.0.1.0 of DF-Control service 1.0 plug-in is available.



After some tests and feedback, we decided to release this minor upgrade that introduces some changes respect the previous version.

These are the changes available:

- Added the possibility to select an IF NOT comparasion of the service state to evaluate.

- The result value returned by the plug-in, now is always the value of the service state.
When the plug-in execute an action, the value returned, it is the state of the service after that action.
In case of errors, an appropriate value it is returned.
