Hello,

we have an generic installer template which we use for all products and would like to be able to change the dialog images to fit each product. the images used in the creatives are outside the .mia but everything else is inside. can dialog images also be part of the creatives?

thanks, Dan

Sorry - the images are embedded inside the dialogs. However, what you can try is to create multiple dialogs with the correct images each, and display them selectively from script. If the images won't be "known" until runtime, you could even write a plug-in that updates the DFM files by injecting the correct images at runtime.

I have the same problem and I think this is the same for every software house that has several products.
Changing the images in each dialog is time consuming, not to mention the fact that if I want to switch to a new theme I need to start over again.
Can you consider this in a future release?
Otherwise, couldn't be possible to extend the Dialog Batch Updater tool to solve this issue?
Thanks

This is an excellent feature suggestion I know R&D is currently working on. Good news everyone, this should be available soon :)

Well, I was hoping you would include this feature in the R2 version, but I see that's not the case.
Can you tell me when this will be available?
Thanks

InstallAware X has this already in place :) Just a little while longer now...
