Hello:
I am STRONGLY considering purchasing your product. I have played with the Express version and found it very easy to use.
However, I have no idea how in the world I would perform the following:
1. Detect whether SQL Server Express 2005 is installed
2. Create a new instance if it is; or install it if required
3. Create my database...via scripts? via attaching an existing database?
I'm sure these things can be done, I just need to know which version is required.
Also, is there a whitepaper that shows how to do this? I've looked through the forums but the information is scattershot at best.
Please advise so I can get started!
Thanks,
Randall Sexton

Hi,
1) Just use the Application Runtimes view and check the SQL Express 2005 runtime.
2) Just click "Options" for the same runtime and enter your instance name in the "check" command and also in the "install" command.
3) Use the SQL Databases view and paste your script in there.
