Dialog Caption

Looks like you append InstallAware Wizard to the $TITLE$ in the caption bar for all dialogs.

I can't seem to find away to change this. Edit Global Strings will let me change all InstallAware Wizard strings and the and I can change the labels inside the dialogs. But for the life of me I can't seem to find out where to change the Dialog Captions. Is this hardcoded in?

Yep. Its the one thing that's hard-coded in your entire setup. You can edit the dialogs, remove the InstallAware branding, edit the startup screens, but this stays.

That's a shame.

Understandably you want a little advertising by having your company name in my setup file but we have a specialized application for a specialized industry. We are not distributing windows applications to the general public so having your name in plain sight is more confusing than beneficial. Its arrogant to assume that my customers would be interested in your products.

No, its arrogant to force your branding onto dialogs with uneditable controls. We don't do that. Our injection is minimal and follows practices set by the industry.

If you want, you can sign up as a technology partner ($5k) at which point we can remove the branding for you. But you probably don't really need that, do you :)

Before this we used InnoSetup which allows us to fully customize the setup, dialogs and all. No branding except for ours. Then again it doesn't do MSI files. Which is why I am looking into InstallAware. So far I like what I see.

I might be interested in becoming a technology partner. Who do I contact?
