After I bought the full version, this message will be disabled by default? or do I need to disable it manually?

Thanks.

ray make sure you have downloaded the licensing exe and have installed it.

They sent you an email when you purchased the product explaining it all.

I have purchased a Developer license and the dialogs still say:

'Welcome to InstallAware Wizard for ...'.

The installation is for our product and has nothing to do with your company. It is confusing to have this.

I cannot edit the dialogs as you need the Sudio edition for this.

How do I remove these adverts?

I'm sure your comments are rhetorical, as you surely have seen InstallShield impose their branding all over the place.

This is standard practice in the installation industry - usually setup wizards say InstallAware Setup Wizard or InstallShield Setup Wizard or what have you.

Our difference is that we actually let you customize all your dialogs, using the dialog editor that ships with the Studio version. For example, while with InstallShield you cannot actually edit dialogs to remove text labels with their branding on it, with our product, you can.

Changing Installaware Text

You can change all InstallAware text except what is appended to the $TTILE$ in the installers Titlebar using Edit global strings. There is also a string embedded in the EXE resource that cannot be changed. I consider that part reasonable. You can also just change it in some dialogs with the editor. The only bummer about this if you do not backup the langauge file you have to repeat this process everytime you install an IA Update.

It is my understanding that you can purchase an unbranded version but in my opinion the cost is astronomical (around 4 or 5 grand) and includes some other priveleges. Personally I think it should be part of the Studio Admin version. Wise does not force branding on you.

This is one main reason I purchased a different program to do my autorun routines, the main reason is I didn't want a Titlebar at all and I think branding an autorun dialog other than your own brand is confusing to some users and I also think it eliminates some of the professional touch.

Really if we are stuck with the branding I would like to get a commission on the new versions that are sold because of my great looking installs :).
