I tried to install this as part of my evaluation. But, I keep getting "Fatal error during installation". I need .NET 3.5 for my project; so I would need this in order to use the product.

Thanks,
Tim

You should be able to download it with out any problem and if you are looking for .NET 3.5, it is already there in application runtimes when you open InstallAware.

Actually, InstallAware came with .NET 3.0, but not .NET 3.5.

Yes, please use the free runtimes update pack from the URL referenced in this thread to add .NET 3.5 and other Visual Studio 2008 runtimes to your setup project.

To keep the InstallAware download small, these are currently offered as separate, free downloads - for both trial and licensed users.

I tried to install the Visual Studio 2008 Runtimes pack; and, it is mysteriously failing. That is my problem.

Mysterious failure is not an error description :)
