We are evaluating InstallAware Studio Admin at the moment and want to switch from our current Tool (InstallShield) to InstallAware.

Is there a way to do an automated build on a machine different as where the Product is installed (like the Standalone Builder from InstallShield). If yes do I need a separate license for it?

Hi Peter,

You don't need additional licenses for build machines with Studio Admin, and you may use either the command line build tool or the automation library to perform the actual builds.
