I plan on sticking with IA for a long time. Last summer I purchased 1 year of maintenance with my upgrade to IA 7. Will I be able to buy another year of maintnance next summer, etc., so that I'm always able to keep my product current? For planning/budgeting purposes I'd like to know what to expect.

I tried the online purchase system and couldn't find a way to purchase maintenance w/o buy a new or upgrade license.

Maintenance is offered only at original purchase time. What you can do when your maintenance runs out is purchase an upgrade, and then fortify it with 1 or 2 years worth maintenance. Because of the deep discounts offered with maintenance, you cannot purchase maintenance stand-alone.
