express licensing

Postby premjeff » Sun Mar 16, 2008 3:19 am

I'm a single dev. and interested in an express license. However to use it on my laptop + workstation it appears I would need to purchase two licenses as it's not floating is that correct?

Two of your competitors that I'm evaluating allow up to two machines per license (as does the vast majority of commercial soft. dev. tools and components).

thanks,
jeff

Hi Jeff,

Our Express product already offers tremendous value, packed with benefits and features not available in any other tool - leaving the price point aside, you cannot find these in any other setup tool period!

Therefore you cannot order maintenance, floating licenses, or other options on the Express product. Express is meant as a bargain to serve as your introduction to InstallAware, and nothing else.

That is to say, if our customers are any indication, you will be upgrading from Express to Studio soon :)
