Hello

First off - great plugin :-)

I wonder if anyone can help with a problem I'm having with it, tho - adding a firewall exception to WindowsXP SP2 when the exe is on another computer at the end of a UNC path. This doesn't seem to work.

In the program field I have: $SETUPPATH$\myprog.exe

And the setup is being run from a network location, with myprog.exe in the same folder.

If I display $SETUPPATH$\myprog.exe in a dialog, the result is:

\\JBPC\setupshare\myprog.exe

...so that seems to be correct.

Thanks in advance for any help.

James

Hi, I'm running the Firewall Plugin 2.2.0.22 ( the version listed in Program/Features) , IA 15 and have problem removing the exception in Win7 Ent x64.

I'm trying to remove three exceptions which all were successfully added during installation.

The removal consists of two "delete allowed program" and one "delete port opening".
The "delete port opening" exception is removed successfully but the two others aren't.

Any ideas?

Have these been created by the plug-in? Are the paths correct for the "delete allowed program" action (i.e. short names versus long names)?

Yes, all three. And all exceptions works.

Yep, checked and verified.

We will soon release a new Plug-In called Windows Advanced Firewall!
This will also create outgoing rules.
