After upgrading from Version 18 to X2 the "Compress 7Zip Archive" call is failing with error #1006. Can you help resolve this issue. Thanks, Adrian

Dear Adrian,

are you using the latest IA X2 release (19.07)?
You can check the version under Add Remove Program in Control Panel.

No, 19.0.0.2014 - I presume updating will fix the issue. Thanks, Adrian.

I ran into the same issue.
Please, how can I update from 19.05.0.2014?

Dear Ts1,

unfortunately you also need the "specific" license file required to activate such version and currently, this cannot be generated anymore.

Hi Francesco,

I don't understand what is missing.
I still have the full download "InstallAware_X2_With_Runtimes.exe" in version 19.5.0.2014
and the small "IA [comany name].EXE" InstallAware Licensing Application .exe in version 7.0.0.0
I am just looking for an upgrade (bug fixes), usually found somewhere in the main menu, but i couldn't find.

Dear Ts1,

I mean that each InstallAware version (including updates) requires a specific personal license file to activate the product (the small "IA [comany name].EXE").

Consequently you must have a license installer that is exactly synchronized in its version with the trial downloads provided on this page. Using different versions of license installers and trial downloads can wreak havoc with the IDE and the setup engine, which is why InstallAware cannot officially provide these files for you: out-of-sync versions will cause a lot of random issues with your setups purely due to engine/compiler/script version mismatches and cannot be supported by technical support.
