Hi there,

I have a problem with the MDAC detection on Windows 2003 Terminal Server (Citrix Server): MDAC 2.81 is installed but not recognized by the setup. The setup installs MDAC, reboots the machine and then wants to install the MDAC again. Can you tell me the registry keys please, which are used to detect the MDAC installation and version.

If you're reading the version, we use OLE automation to create a adodb.connection object and read its version.

When checking for just the runtime, we read the DLL version number from System\\Ole DB\\oledb32.dll.
